Junior Interior Designer/Personal assistant

We are opening a new interior design studio and showroom in Miami and are looking for a part-time (15h/week) Junior Interior Designer to join our team which will serve as the U.S. office of our established design studio based in Spain. This role is ideal for a motivated and proactive designer who wants to grow professionally while being part of the launch of a new studio. The position combines design support, showroom client interaction, and light administrative assistance, making it a dynamic role within a growing design business. Responsibilities Assist in the development of interior design concepts and project presentationsProduce 3D renderings and visualizations for client projectsSupport the selection of materials, furniture, lighting, and finishesPrepare mood boards, layouts, and client presentation materialsHelp source furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessoriesAssist with supplier coordination and basic project follow-upWelcome and assist clients visiting the showroom, presenting products and supporting salesProvide administrative and secretarial support to management when requiredRequirements USA citizen or Green Card requiredDegree or studies and passion for Interior Design or a related fieldKnowledge of 3D design software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar)Basic understanding of furniture, materials, and interior finishesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailCommercial mindset and strong interpersonal skills to interact with showroom clientsSpanish language is a plusProactive attitude and willingness to learnPreferred Previous internship or experience in an interior design studioFamiliarity with furniture brands and suppliersExperience in client-facing or showroom environmentsAbility to support basic administrative or executive assistant tasksWhat We Offer Opportunity to be part of the opening of a new interior design studio and showroom in MiamiHands-on exposure to projects from concept to executionCreative, dynamic, and collaborative working environmentPlease submit your CV and portfolio when applying.
