Junior Designer

White Arrow, an interior design studio specializing in high-end residential projects, seeks a creative and skilled junior designer with strong drafting skills. JOB DESCRIPTION Tasks include but are not limited to, drafting drawings through all design phases, supporting 3D studies and renderings, aiding in the visual production of client presentations, preparing for client meetings in the office, and coordinating/taking notes during meetings as needed. - create custom furniture and millwork drawings. - coordination with vendors, contractors, and clients - collaborate with the Design team to assist in developing projects and drawing sets - excellent sense of color, proportion, and knowledge of contemporary and historic design - interested in up-and-coming designers, learning about historic and modern design, deep breadth of knowledge and eagerness to learn - material library organization and maintenance - research products, source fabrics, finishes, gather samples and quotes from trade vendors, vintage sellers, and small design studios - Assist with digital and physical presentations - Coordinate fabrication of custom items, oversee deficiencies and returns, and work with vendors on repairs or rewiring. - Attend studio visits, showrooms, and site visits - take detailed notes during site visits and client meetings - assisting senior designers and the principal with miscellaneous tasks as needed
