About this role

We are looking for: An experienced and skilled Job Captain/Interior Designer with over five years of expertise who has a strong desire to participate in all aspects of design and is skilled at managing various roles and projects. Our firm, erstad, is a medium-sized architecture and interior design firm based in Boise, Idaho, and specializes in projects encompassing various sizes, scopes, and... types. Our portfolio includes diverse projects, from historic renovations and urban office complexes to multi-million-dollar student centers and mountain-top ski lodges, as well as YMCA full-service camps, multi-family residential, restaurants, and community recreation centers. Our team consists of dedicated professionals who are deeply passionate about their work, and we are in search of a Job Captain/Interior Designer who shares this passion for design, thrives in a collaborative work environment, and embraces the concept that "different is good”. Working Environment and Salary: This individual will work out of our beautiful office in the heart of Downtown Boise, ID. Here at erstad, our office has a hybrid work environment, allowing this position to work from home two days a week. The position offered is full-time with a salary of up to $65,000/year based on experience. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interior Design – REQUIRED • NCIDQ certified, (or, in process) • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in an interior design or architecture firm • PROFICIENT in Revit and AutoCAD - REQUIRED • Skilled in SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office • Knowledge of constructability and detailing • Construction documentation experience • Accomplish tasks and deadlines with direction from Project Managers • Multi-tasking with an understanding of scheduling to accomplish goals • Interior Design positions are more architecturally based at erstad • Team player with a cheerful outlook • Individuals must be local or willing to relocate • A passion for design: “different is good” Benefits: • 3 Weeks of Paid Time Off per year • 401(k) Match, 3% safe harbor • Healthcare, Vision, and Dental Insurance Coverage (team member premiums paid 100%). • Life Insurance • Flexible work hours • Paid holidays • Cell phone reimbursement, paid parking & mileage reimbursement • Team members can enjoy up to (2) hours of Paid Time per month when participating as a board member, committee member, or taking on a leadership role in an outside organization of their preference. • We offer full tuition coverage and paid time to support team members' involvement in Leadership Boise. • To express our sincere appreciation for employees who have been with us for 3, 5, and 10 years, we provide a Paid Time Off, Financial Bonus, and Vacation demonstrating our commitment to those who have dedicated their time to our team.
