About this role

Responsibilities Lead interior design concepts, finish palettes, and furniture solutions.Independently collect, interpret, and document client programming requirementsDevelop adjacency diagrams, block plans, and detailed space plans that support operational and design goalsConduct and oversee as‑built field verifications and integrate findings into project documentationLead the development and coordination of color/material palettes, finish schemes, and material compatibility requirementsDevelop and coordinate construction documents and interior specifications aligned with design intent, technical standards, and regulatory requirementsOversee modifications and updates to construction documents throughout design and construction phasesLead furniture specifications and coordinate with vendors to support pricing, procurement, and installationReview shop drawings and submittals and provide recommendations aligned with design intentParticipate in vendor engagement and stay current with materials, products, and industry trendsServe as a client contact for interior design scope and build strong, effective client relationships.Mentor and support junior designers, promoting professional growth and design excellenceQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA‑accredited program8+ years of commercial interior design experience, including furniture applications; healthcare experience preferredNCIDQ and/or CID certification, or ability to obtainAdvanced proficiency in Revit with strong 3D visualization skillsStrong expertise in space planning, technical documentation, materials, and interior design standardsProven ability to lead creative, functional design solutions for complex projectsExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects independently and adapt to evolving requirementsExperience with Lumion, Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite is a plusLEED accreditation or interest in obtaining is a plusJob Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
