Intermediate Interior Designer

Intermediate Interior Designer | New York Our client's firm is a leading high-end residential interior design firm seeking a creative and experienced Intermediate Designer to join our talented team. We are looking for a candidate who is confident and excels in all aspects of interior design and project management and has a deep understanding of construction processes and tasteful design. The Intermediate Designer is responsible for contributing to the overall completion of client projects and managing smaller scale projects. This person is passionate about his/her work, highly creative and works hard to be a role model for the design team. The Intermediate Designer is dedicated, committed to their craft and believes in mentoring and coaching others. The Intermediate Designer consistently presents a positive attitude and are a natural problem solver. The Intermediate Designer’s approach to design is innovative and inspiring. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture • 3-5 years of experience on residential interior design and construction projects • Familiarity with high-end residential industry vendors • Expertise in day-to-day interior design processes and construction procedures • Proficient in AutoCAD and Photoshop; knowledge of Studio Designer a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to internal team members, clients and vendors • Highly organized with a strong background in project management; managing project schedules and developing budgets • Strong analytical skills; meticulous attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and prioritize multiple projects under pressure • Creative problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing and identifying • Passion for driving results and making an impact in a growing business Compensation and Benefits • Annual Salary + Bonus Potential + Full Benefits Package • Full Benefits Package - healthcare, 401K, PTO, Holidays, bonus potential, profit sharing potential, team gatherings, and more.
