Intermediate Interior Designer Job in Manhattan, NY New requirement for an Interior designer job with a high-end interior design firm based in Manhattan, NY. Characterized by a sophisticated, design-led approach, the firm is renowned for its award-winning architecture and interior design. Now expanding their team and offering a salary of up to $110,000 plus benefits and hybrid working. Established for over two decades, this practice now operates from two locations and has a portfolio of projects across the globe including across America, Africa, and Europe. They have a distinctive contemporary aesthetic but draw inspiration from a wide range of sources. You’ll be part of a team of 15 working from their office in Manhattan on a hybrid basis, covering all phases of design from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a background in interior design with a bias towards interior architecture and technical design. Role & Responsibilities • Technical documentation from concept design through to CD, DD, and scheduling • 2D and 3D drawing for hospitality and commercial residential projects • Space planning and detailing • Assist with FF&E selection and specification • Liaise with clients and contractors • Support with budgets and scheduling. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of industry experience • Exposure to high-end residential and hospitality design, working from concept through to completion • Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam; Vectorworks experience is strongly preferred • Degree qualified in interior design or architecture • Hand sketching skills, desirable. What You Get Back • Salary of $85,000 – $110,000 • Hybrid working, 1 day remote • 15 days PTO, rising to 20 days with length of service • Additional PTO at 5 years and 7 years of service (5 and 20 additional days, respectively) • Varying healthcare plans with the basic plan paid for by the company • 8 days bank holiday, plus 1 floating day • Great location in the City.
