About the position The Interiors Project Coordinator at Advocate Aurora Health is responsible for coordinating interior improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including site customers, construction teams, and external partners, to manage the design and implementation of interior projects across multiple facilities. Responsibilities • Coordinates interior projects with site customers, facilities, construction, and external partners. , • Reviews project scope with end users to determine needs for furniture, finishes, and accessories. , • Collaborates with team members and vendors to develop plans and specifications for interior projects. , • Solicits bids for furniture, window treatments, flooring, and other interior elements. , • Coordinates and schedules moves, managing construction and installation of equipment and finishes. , • Provides budget information to management for project costs and items outside the scope of improvement initiatives. , • Ensures compliance with accrediting organization requirements and interior design standards. , • Manages ergonomic and environmental concerns throughout the facility. , • Coordinates design activities with users, construction department, and external firms to ensure timely project completion. , • Partners with support teams to manage purchases and adhere to budget plans. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Building & Construction, or related field. , • Typically requires 3 years of experience in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction, or Project Management. , • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling/accounting spreadsheets. , • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical data. , • Strong project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
