What You’ll Do
As a Stylist Assistant at Untethered Studio, you will support the Lead Stylist across all phases of décor projects—from building ready-to-order specifications to assisting in the field at client job sites. You will collaborate with colleagues and embody the team’s role in supporting interior design professionals and Studio clients.
You will often work with members of the Studio’s Procurement team as well as support selecting vendors. You will create project specification spreadsheets to keep projects on budget. You will divide your time between the Studio office, warehouse facilities, and client sites. The work week will be split between our San Francisco Office and Marin County location. You must be able to travel within the greater Bay Area and beyond (within the U.S. and Canada).
Key Responsibilities
• Support Studio Decor Team on client projects in varying capacities through creative and technical development, procurement, and staging/styling.
• Assemble decor catalogs and specifications; and assist with Order Status reports for clients and their project partners.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the Studio Procurement team as they manage ordering, receiving, organizing and preparing products for delivery and installation at client sites.
• Adhere to both the Studio’s project and client budgets and deadlines.
• Opportunities to attend and participate in project meetings with design partners and clients, as applicable.
Qualifications
• An inherent talent to find the newest, coolest and most exciting products.
• 3+ years, or educational equivalent, experience in interiors, art and/or design.
• Working knowledge of the application of colors, materials and forms.
• Work experience in corporate interiors, fabrication and/or contract furnishings is ideal.
• Experience in sourcing, procurement and/or staging is a plus.
• Knowledge of G Suite preferred; and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with visualization tools, including CAD-based programs, SketchUp and/or Revit are also a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience or education in interior design.
• 3+ years or equivalent experience in project coordination or procurement.
• Proficient with G Suite; Asana experience is a bonus.
• Able to lift and handle packages of 25+ lbs.
• Must be able to, and be comfortable with, regular regional and occasional national travel. Access to a vehicle is required.
The Fine Print
You’ll report directly to the Lead Stylist and work closely with the rest of this powerful team. This is an hourly, non-exempt position eligible for overtime, company benefits (healthcare, retirement), and reimbursed travel expenses for approved work-related travel.

Pay: $38.00 per hour
