Position: Entry-Level Interior Designer & Model Stager Location: Uptown Dallas, TX Company: Senior By Design Are you a hands-on interior designer with incredible taste, a strong work ethic, and a love for travel? We’re a fast-paced, high-style boutique design firm based in Dallas, specializing in luxury senior living and multi-family communities across the country. We’re looking for someone who’s not just creative—but also confident with a drill, a measuring tape, and an install checklist. This is a travel-heavy, boots-on-the-ground position with room to grow. You’ll help bring our model apartments to life with thoughtfully curated furnishings, layered accessories, and jaw-dropping first impressions. If you have an interior design degree, a great eye, and love seeing your designs through to install day, we want to meet you. Key Responsibilities: • Meeting with clients and making design FFE recommendations • Stage and install model units in Multi-Family apartments and luxury senior living communities coast-to-coast • Lead model home setups, including receiving product, styling, and completing final punch lists • Space plan and design with Senior Designers to maximize function, beauty, and market appeal • Customize and select furnishings that meet client needs, timelines, and budgets • Present design boards to clients using Canva —confidence and client-facing polish and follow up are key • Support project execution with hands-on purchasing, accessorizing, unpacking, and on-site styling • Assist with Revit modeling, especially for layouts and FF&E documentation • Bluebeam Revu furniture and space planning • Travel regularly for installs and photo shoots (must be comfortable flying and driving) What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (This is not a graphic design or architecture position) • Great personal style and impeccable taste—we’re looking for design instincts that can be developed and trusted • Revit proficiency or formal training required • increible space planning nartural skills • Creativity and problem solving • Ability to follow the lead of the design director • Hands-on mindset—must be comfortable with physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs, and solving on-site challenges • Energetic, organized, and accountable, with great follow-through and attention to detail • Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills • Comfortable working independently, on a team, and under pressure Bonus Points For: • Experience staging, merchandising, or setting model units • SketchUp knowledge or Adobe Creative Suite proficiency • Confidence in sourcing, purchasing, and managing install logistics • Ability to create cohesive color palettes, furniture plans, and accessory selections • Understanding of commercial design phases: SD, DD, CD What You’ll Love About Us: • Fun, creative, supportive team that works hard and has a blast doing it • High-end, design-forward projects that make an impact • Convenient Uptown Dallas office with showroom vibes and walkable amenities • Mentorship, growth, and opportunities to build your dream career Important Notes: • This is an in-person, full-time role (M–F, 9–5) based in Uptown Dallas, with overnight travel • Frequent travel is required—applicants must be able and excited to travel nationwide • Please do not apply if your background is in graphic design or architecture or if you do not plan to live and work in Dallas To Apply: Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a short cover letter sharing why you’re the perfect fit for this role of interior designer, installer, and stager.
