Job Description Our Team is Looking for: • Talented Interior Designers, Design Consultants, and Luxury Furniture Sales Associates We are seeking skilled professionals who can serve our clientele and undertake various design projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of design projects and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Design Projects • Establish rapport with clients in a low-stress environment • Interpret and translate client needs into visual presentations • Define project requirements and schedules during initial meetings or home visits • Manage design projects from concept to completion • Set costs and project fees according to client budgets and needs • Research and select products, materials, and fabrics • Produce sample boards, mood boards, and presentations • Monitor project progression and timeliness Requirements and Skills: We're Looking for Professionals Who Have: • Proven work experience in designing interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning & new construction) • A history of exceeding sales goals in luxury retail or furniture showroom settings • Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials, fabrics, custom furniture, window treatments, accessories, rugs, and more • Experience with design programs like Floor Planner, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or similar • An impressive portfolio of previous work • Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for design • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Successful project management skills What We Offer: Join Our Team and Enjoy: • Incentive-based compensation with a portion of commissions paid on written sales • A bi-weekly draw and bonus opportunities • Comprehensive benefits • The opportunity to travel to High Point Market and vendor factories for training • The support of your colleagues and management Equal Opportunity Employer Norris Furniture & Interiors is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
