Interior Designer/Project Manager

About the position Responsibilities • Manage projects from schematic design through installation. • Collaborate on developing the design concept for a project. • Prepare client presentations with principal's design sketches and self-generated materials including 2D and 3D drawings. • Design, source, and present design ideas using tools including interior design finishes, fixtures, hardware, and lighting. • Create proposals and coordinate purchases and shipment of all items. • Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, millworkers, and subcontractors throughout the project. • Manage FF&E sourcing to target budgets and timetable on a daily basis. • Maintain communication with clients. • Manage internal and external deadlines. • Define and solve complex problems with strong attention to detail. • Organize and oversee installation of the projects. Requirements • Bachelor's degree from an accredited architectural or interior design program. • 3-5 years of experience in high-end residential projects. • Proficient in AutoCAD is a must. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). • Knowledge of physical and online showrooms and resources. • Interior architectural experience in all phases of the design process. • Must be able to work legally in the US.
