Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to support clients through new home construction and remodeling projects. This role blends design expertise with project coordination, showroom management, and general office support. The ideal candidate is both artistic and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects while supporting day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Interior Design & Client Services:
Consult with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle needs, budget, and design preferencesDevelop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans for new builds and remodeling projectsSelect and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and color schemesCollaborate with architects, builders, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed correctlyPrepare and present design proposals to clientsStay current on design trends, materials, and industry best practicesProject Coordination:
Assist with project timelines, budgets, and schedulingTrack orders, deliveries, and installationsConduct site visits to monitor progress and address design-related issuesCommunicate regularly with clients and project stakeholdersShowroom Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroomMeet with vendors to source and introduce new products and materialsCurate and update showroom displays to reflect current offerings and trendsManage and maintain the showroom inventory systemEnsure samples, materials, and product information are organized and up to dateQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of residential interior design experience preferredProficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite)Strong understanding of space planning, materials, and construction processesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and manage both creative and operational responsibilitiesPreferred Skills:
Experience with new construction and remodeling projectsExperience managing a showroom or design studio environmentKnowledge of local building codes and regulationsWork Environment:
Combination of office work, client meetings, showroom management, and on-site project visits
