Position Overview
The Interior Designer is an essential member of our Project Development Team—guiding clients through the design process, creating functional and beautiful remodeling solutions, and developing documentation that ensures a seamless transition into construction.
This is a full-time role, based primarily in our Lancaster office and in the field with clients. Some flexibility for remote work may be available after onboarding.
What You’ll Do
• Meet with clients to understand needs, pain points, and lifestyle priorities
• Create thoughtful, functional, and beautiful remodeling designs
• Produce drawings, renderings, scopes of work, and specifications
• Guide clients through selections, showroom visits, and design decisions
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, trade partners, and teammates
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation in our systems
• Support the Production team with clarity during project handoff and construction
• Participate in debriefs to continually improve client and team experience
What We’re Looking For
• Education/Experience: Degree in Interior Design (or NKBA/NCIDQ certification) + 3+ years’ residential interior design experience
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software (Chief Architect, SketchUp, 20/20, etc.) and Google/Microsoft office tools
• People Skills: Excellent communicator who connects with clients and team members warmly and professionally
• Humble team player who values input and collaboration
• Hungry, self-motivated, and invested in personal growth
• People-smart, emotionally intelligent, and adaptable in communication
• Organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven
• Valid driver’s license and ability to visit construction sites as needed
Compensation & Benefits
• Total Compensation: $65,000–$90,000/year
• Base Salary: $60,000–$75,000
