This role involves translating research and insights into practical and creative solutions that align with our clients' needs and brand identity. Our Interior Designer will contribute to crafting spaces that are not only visually appealing but also functional and aligned with our clients' goals across various sectors including corporate, education, government, and healthcare. • *Principal Duties and Responsibilities:** - Serve as either the lead or supporting Designer on assigned projects. - Collaborate closely with sales teams and clients to understand project requirements and develop creative, functional design solutions within specified budgets. - Utilize knowledge of design trends and product applications to advise sales consultants and clients effectively. - Cultivate strong client relationships through consistent support and flawless execution of design concepts. - Participate in a team-based selling approach and provide ongoing support to clients for workplace modifications. - Produce detailed design documents including space plans, furniture specifications, and installation drawings using design software. - Conduct field measurements, product inventory, and research as necessary. - Adhere to project timelines and maintain accurate records of working hours. • *Core Strengths/Attributes:** - Effective Communication and Collaboration: Proficient verbal and written communication skills, adept at tailoring messages for different audiences, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative team player. - Strategic Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, generate innovative ideas, and make effective decisions by seeking out relevant information. - Execution Management: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, adept at managing tasks efficiently, and demonstrating excellent follow-through. - Continuous Learning: Self-motivated learner who stays abreast of industry trends, products, and applications. - Application Excellence: Proficient in utilizing design software including AutoCAD, Configura, and Revit, with a keen eye for creative product applications. • *Requirements:** • *Minimum Job Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or equivalent experience. - In-depth understanding of design trends and code requirements. • *Desired Job Requirements:** - NCIDQ or State certification. - Background in furniture dealership. - 3+ years of industry experience. - Experience with CET Designer Software. - Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC).
