Interior Designer (Intermediate)

Over 30 years of practice, this 150 person-firm is nationally recognized in programming, planning + design for the healthcare, science & technology, higher education, K-12, and civic sectors. The firm's expertise includes transformative projects for schools of medicine and the health professions, advanced research and teaching laboratories, leading-edge museums and civic landmarks, tech-offices, and innovative clinical facilities on higher ed, healthcare and urban campuses. The team is actively seeking talented Intermediate Level Interior Designers with a passion and expertise in institutional project types. Candidates should have the following skill-set: • Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic and large –team environment • Strong design and graphic sensibility • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Creative problem solving • Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills • Experience and knowledge in the following: • Design, coordination and documentation of architectural interiors • Design, layout and documentation of furniture systems • Building codes and agency requirements • Building Engineering Systems and coordination with consultants • Working with contractors/trades in collaborative delivery Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: • 5- 7 years’ experience in the design and construction industry • Institutional or Healthcare interiors project experience preferred • Applicant shall be proficient in Revit/BIM production for large scale buildings • Past experience with direct client interaction • Professional architecture/interior design degree required, Master of Architecture/Interior Design preferred • Architectural or interior design professional license within the State of California preferred • LEED-AP ID+C preferred Please Note: Delays may be experienced if uploading portfolio pdf.
