Job Description
Ryan Companies is looking for an organized, innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking Healthcare Interior Designer II to join our team! The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve and design both as part of a collaborative team and perform work independently.
Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involves architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management and capital markets. Ryan’s integrated process requires an individual to be able to work in a proactive manner in tandem with local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice.
Some Things You Can Expect To Do
Work in tandem with Client, Architects, Design Project Manager, Designers, Development, Construction, and Consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction
Participate in creating a complete, thorough set of interior design documents to meet healthcare project goals, milestones, and schedule
Develop and implement an overall design palette that supports the aesthetic, budget, and functional goals of the healthcare project
Participate in and/or lead design meetings, consultant meetings, and project team meetings
Independently solve problems by applying the basic principles of design
Participate in interior design code review and implement requirements
Identify & communicate deviations in project scope and work with team to resolve
To be successful in this role, you must be proficient in Revit and have the ability to lead a diverse team. Candidates with approximately 4-6 years of dedicated healthcare interior design experience are most likely to be successful.
You Will Really Stand Out If You Have
Relevant work experience in the design of acute care, ambulatory- care and medical office buildings
Professional Interior Design degree
Professional Interior Design licensure
LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification
EDAC or other healthcare accreditation
Knowledge of building regulations, FGI Guidelines, safety codes and ability to research and incorporate into technical documents
Proficiency in Enscape, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, and MS Office Suite
Eligibility
