About this role

• Position Summary • This position plays a vital role within Design & Construction by championing MaineHealth's design standards, tailoring conceptual ideas to individual healthcare programs, and working with stakeholders to find creative solutions to their space needs. Responsibilities include: conducting test fits to determine design viability, selecting art and furniture, overseeing signage... and providing guidance to sub-contractors and vendors. This position works closely with architects and interior designers hired by MaineHealth and periodically supports the facility planner by updating REVIT files and facilitating moves across multiple campuses. • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) • Education: College degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred, or equivalent experience. • License/Certifications: NCIDQ preferred • Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in healthcare design, planning, construction and operations. • Knowledge of healthcare design and current trends as related to construction and renovation. • Must be fluent in AutoCAD/REVIT and proficient in healthcare programming and functional design. • Strong oral and written communications skills, including: active listening, information gathering and public speaking. The desire to collaborate with care team members from all levels of the organization. • The ability to prioritize and manage complex projects in a dynamic, ever-changing healthcare environment
