Position Overview We are seeking a high-caliber Interior Designer to join our design team on a part-time or contract basis and elevate our client experience and luxury brand. This position will work closely with our in-house designer to provide design guidance and selections support for high-end clients across our semi-custom and custom programs. The ideal candidate is not just a stylist—they are a trusted guide and creative partner who understands how to listen, interpret vision, and help clients make confident decisions throughout the home design process. This is a client-facing role that blends technical knowledge, emotional intelligence, and creativity to deliver unforgettable outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Partner with our internal design team to guide clients through design selections and help bring their vision to life • Support high-end clients in choosing finishes, materials, colors, fixtures, and layouts that align with their personal taste and lifestyle • Translate client inspiration into a cohesive interior design plan that reflects both their preferences and Brandon Homes’ elevated aesthetic • Review architectural plans, elevations, and specifications to ensure alignment with selections and design intent • Contribute ideas to improve and refine our selections process and showroom experience • Stay up to date on current design trends, supplier offerings, and premium product lines to ensure an informed and curated client experience Qualifications & Preferred Experience • (Preferred) Minimum of 2 years in an interior design role, ideally in residential construction or custom homebuilding • (Preferred) Degree in Interior Design or related field • (Preferred) Experience working in a homebuilding or remodeling environment • (Required) Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and construction documents • (Required) Valid Driver’s License (some site travel is expected) • Exceptional taste and eye for quality, proportion, and material coordination • (Preferred) Proficiency with design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar), and ease with technology platforms (e.g., BuilderTrend, selections portals, CRMs) Soft Skills • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present ideas clearly and diplomatically • Confident yet empathetic client communication; able to guide clients through decisions with grace • A storyteller—someone who can connect design choices to client aspirations and the Brandon Homes vision • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Strong cultural fit with a performance-oriented, fast-moving team that strives for excellence every day Unique Perks As part of this role, Brandon Homes will support and allow the designer to market their own post-build design services, including furniture curation, décor styling, and full home furnishing.
