Position Purpose:
We are looking for an accomplished Designer to join our passionate and dynamic team. The Designer will provide innovative, and contemporary workplace design services for all phases of a project including programming, schematic design, design development, and specification of furniture and materials.
The Designer role is a hybrid role that requires strong interpersonal skills, CET or a basic understanding of CAD systems, and knowledge of office furniture. For the right candidate, we offer training for our CAD system, and furniture product knowledge. This position is often the face of our organization to our customers, guiding them through the process of consultation, space planning, proposal generation and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Interior Design, a high level of energy and a creative desire to assist our customers through the process.
Responsibilities:
• Attend client meetings with or without an Account Executive, gathering information for successful design solution, leading portions of the conversation sharing expertise and knowledge
• Site verifications and product inventory as required by project
• Programming with the client for specific needs
• Space planning
• Client presentations
Qualifications:
• Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA/BFA) in Interior Design or Architectural Design
• 2 or more years Dealership experience
• Preferred experience in using furniture specifying software
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, Adobe. Experience in CET preferred but not required
