Interior Designer

**GD Resources LLC is hiring an Interior Designer** **Location:** Department of Veterans Affairs Long Beach VA Healthcare System (LBVAHCS) 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 **Purpose:** The Interior Designer supports the Planning Section and is responsible for independently executing interior design, space planning, and project activation tasks for healthcare environments. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement design solutions for healthcare spaces * Prepare AutoCAD drawings, FF&E plans, and presentations * Review plans for compliance with VA standards (TIL, ABAAS, NFPA, OSHA) * Develop procurement packages (SOW, IGCE, specs, budgets) * Coordinate installation, delivery, and activation * Maintain documentation and oversee punch list completion * Coordinate with stakeholders across departments **Qualifications:** * Healthcare design experience preferred * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office * Strong communication and coordination skills **KEY PERSONNEL / SPECIALIZED STANDARDS (SP3):** (Provide a copy of degree, resume, and/or qualification statement) * Bachelor’s Degree **OR** * 8–10 years of professional interior design experience
