Interior Designer

About the position Responsibilities • Define design or project elements and processes to meet client needs. • Participate in and coordinate estimates and proposal/bid preparations. • Plan and develop design projects concerning unique and/or controversial complexities. • Participate in the conceptual design and provide full support through the entire project. • Coordinate with project management, architects, and other designers on technical solutions. • Review junior staff's work for technical accuracy and provide guidance. • Perform quality control reviews and ensure achievement of key milestones. • Conduct field reviews, inspections, and observations of ongoing construction projects. • Supervise direct reports, including hiring and performance management. • Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field from an accredited university. • 1 to 3 years of related experience in architectural planning and design required. • Knowledge of commercial office furniture systems and standards. • Experience with 3D modeling software for conceptual planning and predesign studies. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Analytical skills and creative vision.
