Interior Designer

PS & Daughters is currently searching for an Interior Designer to join our growing interior design firm. The job opening is a full-time, permanent position at our office, located on the Main Line in Strafford, PA. This is a growth position that will provide support to the Creative Director/Principal Designer, reporting directly to her. About You: • You are creative, flexible, organized, and passionate about interior design • You have a bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited school or university • You have worked in a professional design environment • You have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Rivet, Lumion (or other 3D rendering software) and Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign). Experience with Houzz Pro (formerly Ivy) is a plus • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills • You have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • You have excellent time management & organizational skills and attention to detail • You want to grow as a professional designer You will: • Assist in and conduct site surveys and develop Existing Conditions drawings • Create high-quality project design deliverables in both FF&E and construction documents • Create floor and furniture plans, elevations, RCPs and renderings • Provide finish plans, specifications and material selections • Produce style guides, mood boards and project presentations • Attend client meetings and site visits and record minutes and tasks • Update and track projects, vendor fulfillment and delivery schedules in Ivy • Visit showrooms, manage and expand our materials library • Maintain office space, perform basic office duties About Us: • We are an award-winning interior design studio with high-end residential and commercial clients • We believe in enduring style and spaces that are highly personal • We believe in our signature design approach and unparalleled attention to detail • We believe in a collaborative, transparent and low-stress design process that is fun for our clients PS & Daughters is accepting resumes through August 1, 2024.
