Treehouse Design is a full service custom residential design/build firm,
bringing modern and traditional homes from conception through construction in
and around beautiful Cape Ann, MA. About This Position: Treehouse is seeking a
collaborative and enthusiastic Interior Designer with 5-10 years’ experience
to work together with clients and architectural staff in all phases of design
and construction administration. Interested candidates should have a passion
for residential design and construction. Experience in residential design is
strongly preferred. Ideal candidates should be experienced working in Revit.
Though COVID has required remote work for much of our team, we are excited to
resume in person staffing with safe working conditions in place. We offer

company contributions, and paid time off. Responsibilities will include: •
Conceptual space planning and interior design to develop scope of work based
on collaboration with senior architectural staff and client goals/vision •
Develop material pallets, including interior trim, stone, tile, paint,
plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures and hardware • Gather samples, prepare
mockups and accompany clients to showrooms • Develop detailed drawings,
including enlarged interior plans, elevations, details, custom cabinetry,
built-ins, and lighting/electrical plans, for design phase development and
construction documents • Collaborate with interior staff and kitchen/bathroom
cabinet specialist • Develop detailed schedules for the selection, ordering
and tracking of goods • Liaise with architects, construction managers,
consultants, suppliers, installers and craftspeople, during both design and
construction phases • Coordinate and order material, fixture and appliance
selections • Attend regular team meetings and site visits • Onsite
coordination of interior finish installation, including stone, tile, lighting
and specialty finishes Qualifications should include: • Professional degree in
interior architecture or interior design • 5-10 years’ experience working
directly with clients, managers and craftspeople • Software skills in
Revit/Excel/Photoshop • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple
deliverables and deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving skills • An eagerness to collaborate with craftspeople If
