Interior Designer

We are a dynamic Commercial and Educational Furniture dealership seeking a motivated Designer to join our team. The Designer position is responsible for the development and production of furniture drawings and specifications for pricing, order entry and installation purposes. Responsibilities... • Consulting with the Sales Team and Customers to determine furniture needs, and help develop solutions to meet those needs • Prepares schematic designs, space planning, product pricing, finish schemes and installation drawings. • Creates presentation documents and media as needed for projects. • Validates furniture plans against architectural and engineering construction drawings to ensure accuracy. • Keeping up with our Design Studio library of literature, textiles and finishes. • Assist with the design and upkeep of our showroom. • Offers technical input on proposed design solutions by developing extensive knowledge base of furinture lines, specifications, features and options. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design • Proficient in AutoCAD and CET • Commercial Furniture Dealership experience is preferred, but not a must. • Must Posses organizational skills and flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
