Interior Designer

Here’s the scoop: Azzurri Kitchens is seeking an Architectural Designer/ Interior Designer, for full-time employment. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated to assist customers develop layouts with functional configurations and designs for their residence. The focus will be in kitchen and bath cabinetry, though many of our projects include entire homes... Azzurri Kitchens is a family owned, 4th generation, custom high end European cabinetry company, that manufactures modern designed cabinetry for kitchen, bath and more. Our projects span both residentially and commercially. A successful candidate will be working Monday Through Friday, with a Saturday rotation, in our retail showroom, located in Boca Raton, Florida. Azzurri Kitchens is rapidly expanding and by 2023 will have three new locations in Houston, Boston and Washington DC. Requirements: • Kitchen and bath design experience. Examples of your overhead, elevations and renderings may be requested. Knowledge of Moziak is a plus. • Proficiency in Sketchup (or similar programs) for rendering purposes preferred. • The right candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing custom cabinets and built-ins utilizing design software. • The right candidate will maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance while working in our showroom, and during outside appointments with clients. • Must have the ability to work Saturdays (Revolving schedule, hours 10:00am – 4:00pm) • Must have exceptional listening and communication skills with clients, with the ability to create their vision into a reality. • Giving unparalleled customer service, in a high-end retail showroom is a must. • A desire to create a positive, above and beyond “experience” with our clientele. The right candidate is willing to go that extra step for an Azzurri customer. • Strong communication skills is required. Consistent communication via clients, teammates and management, is a daily part of your job at Azzurri Kitchens. Excellent typing skills is needed. • CRM knowledge is a plus as reporting is an element of this position requiring timely response. • Must have a valid FL driver’s license, a working vehicle for traveling to and from client appointments. • Must have strong experience in field measuring, providing dimensions for accurate designs. • Reports weekly for individual meetings with the showroom manager, present at the Boca Raton store. • Must have a strong willingness to accurately learn Azzurri Kitchens design and sales strict guidelines and processes. Training will be provided. • Comprehensive knowledge of Office software (MS Word, Excel, Etc.)
