We are seeking a talented full-time Interior Designer that's able to surpass client’s... expectations, provide an enjoyable experience, and have FUN. Our designers understand the different lifestyles and environments to create beautiful functional homes for our clients. We provide luxury design services from that perfect host gift to an entire home. Sense of personal style, polished appearance, and refined taste represents the Schoener design team. Responsibilities: • Welcoming and engaging guest in our showroom • Educate clients about quality, value, and style of our products • Ability to recognize and execute selling opportunities • Present solutions to clients with in-store and house call appointments • Proactively educate yourself on current trends and product knowledge • Achieve personal sales goals • Provide exceptional customer service • Maintain merchandise appearance and showroom cleanliness Experience: • 2+ years design experience and retail sales • Understanding of basic design concepts, space planning, and color • Proven design and sales track record • Strong customer service skills • Professional presence • Enthusiastic and outgoing • Available to work showroom hours from 9:30am - 6pm, including Saturdays • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Compensation: • Competitive base salary and commission • Paid monthly parking and employee discounts • Paid vacation and sick time • Medical and Dental COVID-19 Precaution(s): • Personal protective equipment provided or required • Social distancing guidelines in place • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Work Remotely • No This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: • People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects • Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail • Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Weekends as needed Education: • Associate (Preferred) Experience: • Interior Design: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
