Position Description We are seeking an Interior Designer with strong design capabilities who is interested in sharing their talent with a larger firm and joining our collaborative design team. A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited school is a minimum requirement. NCIDQ certification or interest in pursuing this credential is preferred. The ideal candidate will be creative, hardworking, and self-motivated. Entry level and experienced candidates will be considered. Key Responsibilities • Interior design services including programming and space planning • Project design and development • Client engagement • Material research including textiles, lighting, flooring, and artwork • Developing presentation materials and related documentation • Evaluating materials and systems for design solutions • Providing furniture, fixtures and equipment services • Manage and attend site surveys and complete survey reports • Assisting team members in construction detailing • Production of construction documents • Collaborating with others including in-house Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural Engineers • Manage project consultants • Construction Administration Services, including review of submittals, attending on site or remote project meetings, etc. • Attend post construction compliance site visits / punch lists Desired Skills and Abilities • A strong design ability demonstrated through completed work • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD • Strong Presentation Skills • Excellent written communication skills • Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated individual who can multi-task • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to work on multi-discipline teams located in multiple offices This is NOT a remote position.
