Job Description: We are seeking a versatile Interior Designer with a strong skill set to contribute to various aspects of our interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be creative, passionate about the design and construction industry, and capable of multitasking to support both design work and purchasing and procurement activities. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Principal and Senior Designers with tasks such as ordering samples, inquiring on pricing, scheduling, showroom runs, and managing phone/email communications. • Conduct drafting tasks using CAD software, prepare Construction Documents (CDs), and create models in SketchUp. • Oversee purchasing and procurement processes, including placing orders and project management. • Write product specifications and source FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). • Source finishes and materials to meet project requirements. • Prepare high-quality professional presentations for clients. • Greet clients, schedule appointments, and handle phone inquiries. Desired Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Design or related field. • Experience in the Interior Design industry, with a focus on producing Construction Documents. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, and Adobe software. • Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail. • Responsible, professional, and team-oriented mindset. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for interaction with internal and external teams. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively. • Experience in specifying FF&E and managing purchasing and procurement processes. • Self-motivated and highly organized with a business mindset.
