Interior Design Showroom Assistant (Part-Time)

We are a boutique interior design firm with a downtown showroom, and we are looking for an Interior Design Showroom Assistant to help us with showroom management. This position comes with the opportunity to see the day-to-day of our interior design projects. • Management of showroom inventory. • Receiving and checking in deliveries. • Filing for returns and claims when needed. • Opportunity to assist with interior design projects. • Maintenance and updating library of fabric, cabinetry, countertop and other product samples. • General maintenance and upkeep of the showroom. (Changing light bulbs, vacuuming, dusting, watering plants, etc.) • Greeting and assisting customers. • Assisting with showroom merchandising, hanging art and mirrors, etc. • Occasional client deliveries. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly. On occasion, helping with heavier furniture items. • Good organizational and follow up skills. • Interest in interior design is a plus! _____ • Part-time position with potential for growth. • 12-15 hours/week to start. • Two weekdays and Saturdays (10am-2pm or 11am-3pm) preferred, but this is flexible for the right person! • Start date flexible, but ideally would start mid- September.
