JOB DESCRIPTION: Interior Design Sales Specialist Armada Design Center is excited to announce our expansion and is looking for a uniquely talented Interior Design Sales Specialist to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to get in early and grow as we grow. Do you have Interior Design experience and love to work with people with the opportunity to make additional income from your sales of products? Do you have strong knowledge of cabinetry, and have skills in sales and relationship management? If so, READ ON! As an Interior Design Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting customers to include Designers, Builders, Contractors, Architects, Real Estate Agents, and retail clients in our Design Center showroom in Bellevue. You will assess their needs and assist them with material selections and provide Design services in 2020 or Chief Architect as needed. Many clients come in with drawings and elevations and just need help in selecting the right materials for their projects. Others come in with a concept, idea, and know the basic measurements of their space, but will need your assistance with the right layout and drawings for their project. Experience with Blue Beam is a plus as we use this software for measuring drawings so we can accurately bid how much material and products will be needed for their project. This role has a base salary with huge potential in commissions and bonuses if you are a go getter and know how to close a sale! We will provide you with the paid leads for you to work and also welcome you to bring your book of business aboard as well. Job Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Meet and greet customers as they enter the showroom. Identify what type of customer they are, assess their needs, present solutions, and maintain a relationship with them for repeat business • Attend industry networking events to include MBAKS, NKBA, NWSID, etc… • Responsible to learn and understand our product lines (cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, etc...) by meeting with vendors for product knowledge training, or reaching out to the vendors to obtain the necessary information to fully understand what we offer. • Maintain your daily activity in our CRM system HubSpot that we will train you on • Track and work all leads and accounts in HubSpot • Create drawings, quotes, and invoices and work the entire project from start to finish with the customer • Work with the Design Center Director to make recommendations and suggest changes to product lines as needs arise and new products become available, or as the market may change. • Attend events we host in our showroom for industry professionals to help grow the business and expand our network • Attend 3-4 home shows per year with the team Qualifications: • Interior Design Experience • Sales Experience • Chief Architect or 2020 is a must – You will be creating kitchen and bathroom drawings to estimate how much product / what type of product is necessary for a project. • 1-3 years experience in industry related sales. • Ability to assess needs, offer solutions, handle objections, and close the sale. • Understand cabinet design and layout with ability to order cabinets. • Ability to be a strong self-manager and self starter. • Go-getter mentality with and outgoing personality. Eager to build relationships and grow the business.
