Interior Design Sales Specialist

Job Overview At Advanced Interiors, we are dedicated to providing exceptional interior finishes to the residential new home market. We focus not only on products but also services that meet the needs of new homebuilders, as well as the retail, remodeling, commercial, and multi-family markets. This is an hourly position with regular working hours between 8 am-5 pm on weekdays, with a monthly evening commitment and occasional Saturday appointments. Position Summary The Showroom Designer/Sales Associate will assist retail customers with their home remodeling projects, while also supporting builder and commercial customers with design selections. This role requires cross-training to assist in all areas of design selections and showroom maintenance as needed. Responsibilities • Assist customers in making informed selections for their homes and provide detailed quotations for project completion. • Complete the sales process from initial contact through final installation, payment, and closing documentation. • Maintain showroom displays, related work areas, and perform cash and carry sales, merchandise pick up, and general company knowledge. • Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries, transferring calls, or escorting visitors to the appropriate location. Requirements and Qualifications • Knowledge of interior design principles, specifically color, materials, and finish coordination, as well as cabinet planning/design skills. • Excellent communication, time management, organization, computer, and sales follow-up skills. • A positive attitude, ability to balance multiple tasks, motivated to exceed customer expectations. • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential interior design, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Qfloors, 20/20, etc.
