Home Depot is hiring for Interior Design Sales Representative
With the Customers First, In Stock and Store Appearance priorities, designers in stores provide prompt, comprehensive, and warm service to shoppers, ensuring a positive shopping experience. They actively engage with customers, assessing their kitchen and/or bathroom project needs, providing tours of the store, and offering product recommendations. Interior Design Sales Representative also guarantee that samples and brochures are well-stocked and displayed efficiently, and special showcases and events are well-maintained and designed.
Major Roles, Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
• Offer rapid and congenial assistance.
• Encourage customers to browse the aisles by being present and approachable.
• Greet all customers with warmth and sincerity by smiling and making eye contact with them as they walk in.

• Exhibit enthusiasm towards customers and adeptly manage several clients simultaneously when necessary.
• Acknowledge your customers for their patronage and express your thanks for their recent visit to The Home Depot.

• In marketing, highlighting the benefits of a product is often more effective than just listing its features. For example, instead of listing a camera's features such as its megapixel count, marketing can emphasize that the camera captures your most cherished memories with stunning clarity.
• Prioritization of tasks is essential to avoid delays and ensure that critical tasks are completed first. This is particularly important in large projects where multiple tasks are being completed simultaneously.
• Provide assistance to clients with unique orders and proficient installations.
• Take kitchen and/or bathroom measurements and meet with clients to assess room designs and provide guidance on purchasing items.
• The special order displays and showrooms require an enticing and secure environment for customers.
• Keep stock levels of samples and brochures maintained and immediately restock when supplies run low.
Nature and Scope:
• The warehouse can be a dusty and noisy place, especially during peak hours.
• The frequent use of forklifts and other heavy vehicles in the store may create temporary cracks in the floor.
• The habit of leaving doors open can lead to changes in room temperature and unwanted drafts.
• The risk of slipping and falling increases when the floors around the work area get wet.
• The job involves working with goods and handling sharp-edged equipment.
• Passing forklifts emit hazardous gas fumes.
• The existence of risky components may be observed in tools, supplies, and other related goods.
Environmental Job Requirements:
• Environment: Usually, one can expect a pleasant atmosphere. However, moderate physical discomfort may occasionally arise due to the presence of irritants such as dust, fumes, or unpleasant smells.
• Travel: For the most part, this job doesn't require traveling overnight, except for less than 10% of the time.
