Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Design Sales Professional located in Greater Boston. The role involves fostering relationships with clients, assisting them with furniture selection and interior design services, and providing expert advice on customizing furniture pieces to meet their unique preferences. In addition, the role requires participation in showroom presentation and maintenance, preparing design concepts, and collaborating with homeowners and trade professionals to create tailored home solutions.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Interior Design, including space planning, color theory, and furniture layout
Sales and customer service expertise, with the ability to build relationships and meet sales targets
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of luxury furniture brands and their customization options
Proficiency in working with design tools and software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
Attention to detail and ability to translate client needs into creative, functional design solutions
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and independently manage multiple clients
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred
Prior experience in high-end retail or luxury sales is a strong advantage
