Interior Design Sales Expert

Behind the Design is seeking an Interior Design Sales Expert to join our team. As an expert, you will be responsible for working with clients to create stunning interiors that meet their unique needs and budgets. Compensation and Benefits The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 and $75,000 in the first year, with no cap on earnings. In the second year, the potential earnings range from $95,000 to $110,000 and beyond. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, holiday pay, and training pay. Key Responsibilities As an Interior Design Sales Expert, your key responsibilities will include: • Meeting with clients to discuss their design needs and preferences. • Developing custom design plans and presenting them to clients. • Closing deals and growing referral accounts through proactive networking. • Collaborating with our fabricators and manufacturers to ensure flawless execution of designs. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have: • A minimum of 3 years of proven success in a sales role, with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets and a demonstrated track record of lead generation. • High proficiency with CRM systems, quoting software, and digital tools in a paperless work environment. • A background in interior design or decorating is essential, with expertise in upholstery or window coverings being a plus. • The ability to travel between Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area as needed. • The capability to lift up to 30 lbs to manage showroom sample books and materials.
