Interior Design & Project Assistant – Part Time Adi Asher Interior Design is growing, and we are looking for a highly organized, reliable, creative, and tech-savvy Interior Design & Project Assistant to work closely with the owner/designer on residential interior design projects throughout South Florida. This is a hands-on, part-time position for someone who enjoys design, organization, working with clients and vendors, and being involved in projects from concept through installation. You do not need to be a licensed or experienced interior designer. We are looking for someone with a strong eye for design, excellent organization skills, initiative, professionalism, and the ability to learn quickly. What You'll Do Assist with residential interior design projects from initial consultation through installationAttend client meetings, site visits, measurements, vendor appointments, and installationsTake accurate room and furniture measurementsTake and organize project photos and videosCreate mood boards, vision boards, and client presentations using CanvaAssist with interior design renderings and visual conceptsUse ChatGPT and other AI tools for research, project organization, presentations, communication, and creative workResearch furniture, lighting, wallpaper, accessories, materials, and finishesCreate and maintain product/sourcing lists, including pricing, dimensions, links, and lead timesCommunicate and follow up with vendors, contractors, installers, and suppliersOrder, organize, pick up, and return samples such as wallpaper, fabrics, paint, and other materialsHelp coordinate appointments, deliveries, installations, and project schedulesAssist with installation days and project preparationMaintain organized client files, project notes, photos, selections, and follow-up itemsDraft professional emails, client updates, meeting summaries, and vendor communicationsRun occasional local project-related errandsHelp keep projects moving by proactively identifying outstanding tasks and following upWhat We're Looking For Extremely organized and detail-orientedReliable, responsible, and punctualProfessional and comfortable interacting with high-end residential clientsStrong communication skillsComfortable working independently and taking initiativeGood visual/design senseComfortable learning new technologyExperience with CanvaComfortable using ChatGPT and AI toolsExperience with or willingness to learn interior design rendering software such as Coohom, Homestyler, SketchUp, or similarComfortable taking measurements and learning proper field-measurement techniquesAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong computer and internet research skillsValid driver's licenseReliable vehicle and current auto insuranceComfortable driving locally throughout South Florida for project-related appointments and errandsAbility to occasionally lift and carry samples or small project materialsNice to Have Interior design, architecture, home staging, furniture, construction, or project coordination experienceExperience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Coohom, Homestyler, or similar softwareExperience creating interior design presentationsFamiliarity with furniture, wallpaper, lighting, fabrics, and residential finishesSpanish or Hebrew language skillsPrevious experience working directly with clientsSchedule Part-time: approximately 10–15 hours per week to start Hours may vary depending on active projects, client meetings, installations, and vendor appointments. Most work will take place during weekdays. Some flexibility in availability is important. This position has the potential to grow in hours and responsibility as the company continues to grow. Compensation $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience and skills Business mileage will be reimbursed for approved project-related driving. Location South Florida / Broward County and surrounding areas. This is not a fully remote position. The role includes client homes, vendor showrooms, job sites, meetings, and local errands.
