JLD is looking for a talented, passionate, and organized person to join our team as Procurement Coordinator. In this role you will work closely with the Principal and Lead Designers, managing and facilitating all... aspects of the Design Lifecycle from initiation through installation. This position is multifaceted and integral to the smooth flow of projects, ensuring that they remain on track and on budget. As the point person for designer support and client management, you will oversee everything from client meeting preparations to product quoting & procurement, to the final installation logistics and project completion protocols.

This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in an interior design or architecture firm.
Based at JLD’s offices in Montchanin, DE, this is a full-time position, offering competitive compensation, paid vacation and company holidays, and 401K with matching after 1 year of employment.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a high end residential &/or hospitality interior design or architecture firm.
• Sense of humor, team player, great energy, and amazing to work with!
• Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines & tasks
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for sophisticated design
• Impeccable design taste and alignment with Principal’s design style & philosophies
• Extensive product and vendor knowledge a definite plus!
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Collaborative nature with an interest in contributing to the overall success of the firm.
• Must be professional, reliable, punctual, and able to participate in client and vendor meetings
• Studio Designer software experience a plus
• Ability to drive to client and vendor locations a must. May require occasional out-of-state travel as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Client Concierge:
• Manage preparations for client meetings
• Create & manage client binders
• Schedule & confirm client meetings and trade appointments
• Point person for client communication and updates
• Oversee client gifts
Designer Support
• Order and catalog samples & memos
• Research & open accounts
• Keep design library organized & up to date
• Manage vendor relationships & rep visits
• Workroom liaison & conduct onsite measures
• Source products
• Order finish samples
• Manage email communications with vendors and clients
Product Coordinator/Logistics
• Specify, generate & send RFQs
• Generate proposals & send to/follow-up with client
• Create purchase orders
• Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders and vendor invoices prior to sending them to bookkeeper/office manager
• Maintain Expediting Report:
• Track all items & coordinating components on order
• Create & manage expediting schedules
• File claims & manage repairs
• Manage Installation preparations and workflow
• Installation Day support and organization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
