Position Summary: The Interior Design Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless operation of Design Bar’s showroom and supporting our design team. This multifaceted position blends showroom management, product and material purchasing, business support and client interaction responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for high-end interior design, exceptional organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit. Responsibilities: Showroom Management: • Maintain both showroom locations in pristine condition, reflecting Design Bar’s high-end aesthetic. • Ensure office supplies are replenished & organized, and refrigerators are regularly stocked. • Ensure the showroom is up-to-date with current products and material samples to ensure optimal design creativity and client presentations. Product & Material Purchasing: • Oversee all aspects of product and material purchasing for Design Bar teams and Collective Co-Creators. • Manage shipping, receiving, returns, warranty issues, and communications with our logistics partner, HD Home. • Maintain and foster relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. Business Support: • Provide general administrative support to the Design Bar team, assisting with various tasks and projects as needed. • Assist with project management details, such as building spreadsheets, gathering materials and job site visits. • Contribute to social media initiatives, helping to create content in line with Design Bar’s brand identity. Client Interaction: • Greet and assist clients visiting the showroom, delivering a warm, engaging, and informative experience. • Support Design Bar’s Trade and Collective programs, acting as a key point of contact for participants and addressing their needs effectively. Qualifications: Experience & Skills: • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. • Exceptional people and communication skills with a positive, morale-boosting attitude. • Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Google Workspace • Experience in client-facing roles, preferably within a high-end interior design or luxury retail environment where exceptional client experiences are valued • Executive Assistant or Project Management experience is also desirable.
