Interior Design Internship

Michael Abrams Interiors is a full service high-end residential design studio in Lincoln Park. We are seeking an intern to join our hardworking dedicated and fun team of designers... This is a great opportunity to gain exposure and learn about the day-today workings of an active interior design studio Commitment to 25+ hours a week preferred. Duties include: • Assist design staff in researching materials & preparing presentations • Communicating with & visiting showrooms to source & return samples • Assist in organizing & maintaining design library • Attend vendor presentations • Assist on site measurements & preparing floorplans & elevations in cad • Miscellaneous general office/administrative tasks • Attend site visits/photo shoots Requirements: The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, upbeat and resourceful with a professional attitude and willingness to learn Must be familiar with Microsoft Suite Programs Ability to use AutoCad is a plus Valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle is required Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions Please forward resume and cover letter outlining hours of availability Job Type: Temporary Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25 per week Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
