Interior Design Internship

Wit Interiors is a small boutique interior design firm focussed on residential interior design. We offer a positive, collaborative and fun learning environment for the right candidate! This position is for a paid, part-time internship with the potential to grow into full-time. You should be highly motivated, reliable, and excited about design! Requirements: Degree or equivalent in Interior Design (or working towards one.) Prior experience with a design firm is a plus. Familiarity with the SF Design Center, showrooms, and local vendors. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel. Other programs we use are: Adobe Suite, Ivy, and Keynote. Excellent communication skills. A desire to learn and be hands-on. Must have a current drivers license with access to a reliable car (work-related mileage is reimbursed). Responsibilities: Work directly with the principal and design assistant. Create and edit furniture plans and elevations in CAD. Vendor correspondence for quotes and lead time requests. Purchasing. Expediting and warehouse correspondence. Sample library organization. Sample pick up and returns. Assist with project installations and photo shoots. Update social media.
