Interior Design Intern

ABOUT THIS POSITION This is a flexible, paid internship in the Design Center of Powell & Co. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who need experience in a high-end design center. This internship allows you to create your own schedule... that fits you best. You are expected to be responsible and timely. You will be eligible to receive school credit. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in the library cleanliness and organization. Running errands for the design library. • If you have any AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Suite experience you may help designers with projects based on need. • Providing administrative support such as answering phones, sending an email, or getting the mail. • Communication with Design Center to determine tasks for the day. • Observation of various components of the design process. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • Either entering their final year of an interior design program or recently completing a program related. • Basic computer skills (outlook, excel, etc.) • Any AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and the Microsoft Suite experience. • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and willingness to complete a variety of tasks. • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
