Interior Design Intern

An interior design intern is an entry-level employee who works under the supervision of professional interior designers. They are responsible for a variety of different duties, including researching new trends in interior design, creating floor plans and 3D models, or assisting with client meetings Duties... - Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget - Develop design concepts and create visual presentations for client approval - Select and source materials, furniture, fixtures, and accessories for interior spaces - Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using CAD software - Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of design projects - Oversee the installation and arrangement of furniture, artwork, and decor items - Provide guidance on color schemes, lighting design, and space utilization - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in interior design Qualifications- - Associates degree in Interior Design or related field - Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating visual presentations - Strong knowledge of 3ds Max or other 3D modeling software for creating realistic renderings - Proficient in CAD software for creating detailed floor plans and elevations - Familiarity with contract documents and specifications for commercial projects - Knowledge of color theory, lighting design principles, and space planning techniques - Experience in remodeling or renovating residential or commercial spaces is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors ABOUT US- Accurate Dimensions Kitchen & Bath Design Center was established in 2013.
