Interior Design Intern

Interior Design Intern for Prestigious High-end Design Firm Internationally-recognized design firm located in West Hollywood, CA consistently featured in major publications such as Architectural Digest, Elle... Décor and many more. Currently, we're seeking an artistic intern to support the design studio through all aspects of design and administrative assistance. Intern will be working directly with the Designers and Design Team. Our internship program prepares students for a career in design through a range of activities: assistance with client presentation preparations, managing in-house design library, communication with local LA vendors, shopping at the PDC and other showrooms, running errands as necessary, etc. etc. PREFERRED SKILLS: - Passionate with all aspects of design - Current enrollment in an Interior Design program of study - Excellent communication; both written and verbal - Multi task in a high pace environment - Must have initiative to follow through with pending items/requests - Problem solving skills - Meticulously organized, efficient, and detail-oriented - Manage in-house sample department - Run errands as necessary for design projects and Principal Designer including pick-ups/drop-offs; may require moving and lifting - Shopping fabrics/trims and materials at the PDC and other various showrooms/galleries. - Support Interior Design team as needed - Bonus if proficient in Studio Webware, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS: - *Valid driver's license and car Required* - Portfolio must be submitted to be considered - 1 year of Interior Design experience or currently enrolled in an Interior Design educational program - Local candidates only Please note with Covid-19 mask wearing in the office is mandatory.
