About this role

Interior Design - Textile Showroom Assistant Pindler Fabrics is in need of a Full Time Showroom Assistant. Under the supervision of Showroom Manager, the assistant will aid the manager in all aspects of running a fabric showroom. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: • Greet designers in showroom. • Provide outstanding customer service by answering email and telephone promptly • Correctly input customer orders and collect payment • Knowledge of textiles • Assist customers in selecting fabrics for design projects • Familiarize customer with showroom, new product and closeouts • Assist outside sales representatives with customer requests • Check out/log and fill sample requests • Maintain fabric sample equipment • Pull dropped fabric and re-work wings according to corporate direction • Maintain an orderly showroom appearance General Working Conditions: • Reports to showroom manager • Must maintain a organized and well planned environment • Requires good communication, computer, telephone skills. • Professional appearance. Business casual (no blue jeans or tennis shoes) • Ability to multi-task. • Lifting required up to 25 Lbs. • Frequent bending, standing Showroom Hours: M-F, 8:30AM to 5:00PM (no weekends) • Compensation: Hourly interior design, interior designer, art, design Work Remotely • No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41,600.00 - $43,680.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Profit sharing • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: • Seattle, WA 98108: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
