• Salary: US $160,000-22000 per annum • Job type: Permanent • Location: Atlanta... • Sector: Interiors • Job Ref: 66530 About this role Roles & Responsibilities • Provide visionary interior design leadership in partnership with the Studio Director to set a clear direction for the interiors discipline. • Oversee the quality of the interior design process, product, and delivery for the interiors team. • Participate in project scope delineation, work plan creation and implementation, and fee negotiations for stand-alone and integrated interior design projects. • Participate in staffing and team organization and composition; help to identify team members for projects in alignment with client goals, team member skillsets, and aspirations. • Lead, mentor, and inspire interior design teams to foster a collaborative and creative work environment. • Partner with local Talent Managers and studio leadership to identify, interview, recruit, and mentor interior design staff. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, professional organizations, and academic institutions. Skills & Requirements • Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design or architecture. • NCIDQ certification; LEED GA within 6 months of hire. • 15+ years of relevant design experience; sectors include sports & recreation, entertainment, corporate & commercial, civic & cultural, higher education & K-12, and healthcare. • Experience managing or overseeing a team of 20+ staff members. • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety requirements, and interior building codes. • Knowledge of conceptual design, schematic design, design development, contract documents, and construction. • Strong familiarity with project budgeting and contract negotiations. • Strong working experience with clients and consultants. • Experience hiring, mentoring, and coordinating successful teams. • Software requirements include Rhino and Grasshopper; working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and V-Ray. Since moving to NYC in 2018, she has held various recruiting and human resources positions, mostly within luxury fashion and retail companies. She’s the daughter of two artists and has always had an interest in design.
