About the position
The Interior Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the design process for various projects, from initial sales consultations through to programming, preliminary design, specifications, client presentations, and working drawings. This role involves collaboration with assigned sales staff and managing multiple design projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Responsibilities
• Understand and adhere to all design department processes and procedures
,
• Utilize AutoCAD and CET Configura Software
,
• Manage and maintain multiple design projects
,
• Develop time management skills to meet commitments and deadlines
,
• Communicate effectively when additional help is required
,
• Understand Steelcase, HON, and various manufacturers' products and their applications
,
• Develop customer budget pricing and quotes to submit to clients
,
• Lead design presentations to the A&D community and other industry partners
,
• Conduct site visits and work with installers to troubleshoot issues during installation
,
• Coordinate product lead times and installation/delivery schedules
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field
,
• 0-3 years' experience in office design, specifically systems application and specifications
,
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAP, and 3D Visual Rendering Software
,
• Basic knowledge of space planning, specification, and finish selection skills as it relates to corporate office design
,
• Good presentation and communication skills, both oral and graphic
