Retail Sales/Design Consultant at Rooms & Gardens We are looking for a motivated sales associate with prior customer service experience and design sensibility to join our team. We need a positive, outgoing person who is detail oriented and has effective time management skills. Being able to understand the customer and communicate effectively is a priority. Must be able to work weekends. Retail Sales/Design Consultant Responsibilities: \\- Helping clients choose furniture \\- Possess knowledge of a wide range of products \\- Keep current on products and trends \\- Provide a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment \\- Work closely with our Interior Design clientele to promote suitable fabric and wallcovering solutions for a wide variety of design projects. \\- Display integrity with an ever present commitment to providing the best possible Customer Service experience. Retail Sales and Design Consultant Qualifications: \\- College graduate and a minimum of 2 years of experience in either Design, or prior industry sales experience \\- A passion for design, home improvement and making things beautiful \\- Ability to learn new things daily \\- Customer- driven \\- Excellent time management and follow up skills \\- Flexible and adaptable \\- Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines \\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \\- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision in order to meet clients' needs \\- Maintain a fresh and desirable showroom aesthetic with frequently updated product displays. \\- Positive, energetic, can-do attitude \\- Please do not apply if you are not passionate about interior design Full time or part time available PLEASE email resume
