Our flagship space includes a Biophilic Art Gallery, a plant-inspired café, a boutique nursery with rare botanical selections, and an interactive ceramic studio. More than a retail store, we are a creative sanctuary where guests come to reconnect with nature, explore mindful design, and be inspired.
As the Gallery & Retail Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and performance of our flagship retail location, build and lead a passionate team of sales associates, manage customer relationships, and ensure the smooth execution of gallery sales, services, and events. This role blends leadership, client engagement, inventory oversight, and showroom excellence to deliver a luxury, design-forward experience aligned with our brand.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Customer Service
• Lead all in-store, phone, and online sales operations, including walk-ins, proposals, invoicing, collections, and deliveries.
• Provide hands-on customer support and service, managing all client touchpoints including chat, email, and showroom interactions.
• Manage ongoing accounts and maintenance clients (e.g., 1 Hotel & Homes), ensuring timely communication, follow-up, and service.
• Utilize CRM (Hubspot) to execute follow-up strategies with new leads and past customers, maximizing sales conversion and retention.
Showroom & Team Management
• Oversee day-to-day gallery and plant nursery operations. The cafe will be operated by a third party.
• Lead, train, and schedule sales associates to ensure maximum productivity and a high-end client experience.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and lead onboarding/training sessions on POS, product knowledge, brand values, and processes.
Client Experience & Brand Representation
• Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a warm, educational, and memorable customer journey.
• Collect and share feedback on product quality, pricing, service, and installations with ownership.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost foot traffic and client acquisition.
Inventory Management
• Oversee inventory of finished goods, packaging, and store supplies; submit replenishment requests as needed.
• Report damaged or expired items to the accounting team on a regular basis.
Sales Reporting & Strategy
• Track showroom KPIs, generate reports on traffic and sales performance, and identify areas for growth.
• Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to propose retail promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns.
• Assist with updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), retail policies, and training manuals.
Events & Collaborations
• Coordinate in-gallery events and promotions to engage the local community and clientele.
• Partner with the design and marketing teams to align events with launches, campaigns, or featured artist collaborations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
