Interior Design Associate - Paid Relocation to the Florida Keys

This job requires PAID Relocation to the Florida Keys... • The ideal candidate will assist our interior designers in various tasks related to project planning, design development, project management, and client communication. • This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about interior design to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: • • Supporting Design Projects: Assist interior designers in all phases of design projects, including conceptualization, space planning, material selection, and furniture procurement. • • 3D Modeling: Utilize computer-aided design software to create 3D modeling under the guidance of senior designers. (preferred) • • Research and Product Sourcing: Conduct research on design trends, materials, and furnishings. Assist in sourcing products, obtaining quotes, and maintaining supplier relationships. • • Project Management: Assist in project management tasks, including creating project schedules, tracking project milestones, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. • • Project Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including design specifications, material samples, project schedules, and client correspondence. Organize project files and ensure accuracy and completeness of information. • • Client Interaction: Interact with clients to gather project requirements and assist in preparing presentations and visual aids for client meetings. • • Assisting in Site Visits: Accompany senior designers on site visits to assess project requirements, take measurements, and collaborate with contractors and vendors. • • Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support, such as order placement, follow-up, managing calendars, and handling correspondence. Qualifications: • • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field preferred. • • Proficiency in computer-aided design software, preferred. • • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • • Creativity and a passion for interior design. • • Previous experience or internships in interior design or related field is required.
