Interior Design Associate (Full-Time)
About the Role: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Design Associate to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in interior design while supporting marketing and showroom sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design (Primary Focus)
· Assist senior designers with space planning using FloorPlanner and FloorScanner applications.
· Participate in home visits for measurements and design support.
· Maintain and organize fabric inventory, sample areas, and vendor assortments.
· Help create mood boards, design presentations, and digital concepts for client projects.
· Research trends, products, and innovative solutions to enhance design proposals.
Marketing
· Create digital content for social media, blogs, and video marketing.
· Design print collateral and promotional materials (brochures, signage, ads).
· Photograph and video document design processes and showroom pieces for marketing use.
· Maintain a searchable design product library of images and samples.
Sales Support
· Greet and assist clients in the showroom when designers are unavailable.
· Record client information, schedule appointments, and prepare quotes/orders.
· Provide post-sale support, including order updates and promoting protection programs.

Skills and Qualifications
· Education: Associate degree or currently pursuing a degree; Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Marketing, or Business a plus.
· Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and cloud-based tools; familiarity with FloorPlanner / FloorScanner required (training available). Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Suite is a plus.
· Design Knowledge: Understanding of design principles (balance, scale, color, texture) and a strong eye for aesthetics.
· Communication: Clear, professional communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and provide exceptional client service.
