Interior Design Associate

Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. We have a showroom open to the public and design clients. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, be confident in a sales environment, be detail oriented and also have CAD skills. This role involves collaborating with our Main Interior Designer, selling to the public in the showroom, maintaining and organizing our samples, researching vendors, materials, creating presentations and creating CAD drawings. Duties • Collaborate with main interior designer on all aspects of projects and assist with project management • Create Power Point or Keynote presentations to communicate design concepts effectively. • Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion and adherence to client specifications. • Help to maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts and budgets. • Assist in managing and manning the showroom, cleaning, meeting the public, creating sales. Requirements • Required to have skills, experience with AutoCAD • Prefer but not required to have proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and either Keynote or Powerpoint • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong communication skills for effective sales approach • Attention to detail with a creative mindset for innovative problem-solving. • A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
